Daughters Day in Edmonton Senior
Some of Radical Citizen Media’s photographs appear in other publications.
The Raging Grannies perform their finale at the first annual Daughters Day celebration on September 1 in Churchill Square. Daughters Day has been established as a celebration of the lives and achievements of women, while raising awareness of human rights abuses against them. The Raging Grannies are a group of local women who regularly appear at events, singing songs that promote peace and social justice. (Edmonton Senior, October 2012)
Rally For Palestine in VUE Weekly
Some of Radical Citizen Media’s photographs have been appearing in VUE Weekly.
At a rally for Palestine on Aug. 17, a group of Edmontonians protested outisde the Legislature that they support a free Palestine and want Canada to do the same. (August 23 – August 29, 2012)
Hiroshima and Nagasaki Memorial in VUE Weekly
Some of Radical Citizen Media’s photographs have been appearing in VUE Weekly.
The Edmonton branch of Project Ploughshares held a memorial at Government House Park for the 67th anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Project Ploughshares is a national organization which works with government and civil society to advocate for peace. (August 16 – August 22, 2012)
NOH8 March and Rally in VUE Weekly

Chevi Rabbitt leads the NOH8 march and rally. The march against hate and homophobia was held August 2 and started at the location where Rabbitt was assaulted two weeks ago. (August 9 – August 15, 2012)
