Indigenous/First Nations: Iskapowishak Walkers (August 2019 – video only)

The Iskapowishak Walkers are from Cochrane, Ontario (Treaty 9 territory) and have been walking across the country since May 7, 2019 to bring attention to Treaties 1-11 and to try to stop the White Paper 2.0. They paused in Edmonton in August and wanted to tell their story of what they are doing and what they are trying to accomplish. The interview is with the three remaining walkers in Edmonton (Frances Whiskeychan, Patrick Etherington, and Maurice Wesley).
